The modification type depends on your business size and turnover:<\/p>

  1. Basic Registration Modification<\/b> For small businesses<\/b> (turnover up to \u20b912 lakh<\/b>). This is a simple update for petty retailers or home kitchens changing basic details like a shop name or contact info.<\/p><\/li>

  2. State License Modification<\/b> For medium businesses<\/b> (turnover \u20b912 lakh \u2013 \u20b920 crore<\/b>). Required for restaurants or local units shifting locations or adding new food items to their production.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Central License Modification<\/b> For large businesses<\/b> (turnover above \u20b920 crore<\/b> or import\/export<\/b>).     As per the latest Notice issued from FSSAI FoSCoS authority, only selected categories of FBOs can now apply for a Modification. They are namely:<\/p><\/div>

    • Any Registered Food Business Operator<\/li>
    • Food Manufacturers<\/li>
    • Food Processing units<\/li><\/ul><\/div>
      • Food Repackers<\/li>
      • Food Re-labellers<\/li>
      • Food Distributors<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
